PRSA: Detroit-Area Events June 17, June 24, August 4

                        Celebrating the Auto Industry
                           Wednesday, June 17, 1998
                      Automotive Hall of Fame, Dearborn

    Detroit chapter members and their guests will get an inside look of what
will be in store for business and leisure visitors to downtown Detroit and
Dearborn in the next century at an evening program on Wednesday, June 17 at
the Automotive Hall of Fame.  (5:30-7:30 p.m.)
    Plans for a new "Spirit of Ford" exhibit on the grounds of the former Ford
Rotunda in Dearborn will be explained, as will General Motors' designs for
Renaissance Center, Millender Center and adjacent downtown areas.

members, $27 for guests and $12 for retirees.

    A panel of seasoned professionals will provide insight on what strategies
work best when your goal is to modify public attitudes and behavior.  Learn
how to: build dialogue with ethnic communities, create a coalition,
incorporate the latest technology, measure success, reach fundraising
objectives, impact public opinion and develop strategic partnerships.
    Moderated by Bill Proctor, WXYZ-TV Reporter.  8 a.m.-11:30 a.m.  Cost for
