The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp will receive all proceeds of the evening's event. The event will consist of qualifying laps in which attendees can participate by buying a lottery ticket and having their names drawn, raffle prizes, a live auction, the main-event race, and will end with an awards ceremony. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Five to six hundred attendees are expected. David E. Davis, Jr. stated: "We like to say that Automobile Magazine drives interesting cars to interesting places, and talks to interesting people when it gets there. That will never be more true than on April 22, in the Tourneau TimeMachine." Ben Bendixen, president of Robert Bosch Corporation, Sales Group, says: "Bosch has had a long standing involvement in racing since the advent of motorsports. Though this is in a somewhat different vain, we are just as pleased to be a sponsor of this race as any held on bigger tracks, perhaps more so, because of the benefit it will bring to the children." Allan Wilson, Director of Development for the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp stated: "The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is honored to have been selected as the beneficiary of this wonderful event. The funds raised at the Slot Car Challenge will help provide a fun-filled camping experience for hundreds of seriously ill children, all of whom attend free of charge. We are deeply grateful to Automobile Magazine, Bosch, and all other sponsors for thinking of the camp and the families we serve."
