Attention Junior Soccer Fans, Trade in Your Pen for a Dodge Caravan Minivan

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Feb. 18 -- Hey kids, listen up.  Would
you like to be shuttled to and from soccer practice in style ... and have
enough room for the entire team?  All you have to do is enter Chrysler
Financial's/Detroit Rockers/Fox Sports Detroit essay contest "My family rocks,
Detroit's best soccer family."  The top prize is a one-year lease on a 1998
Dodge Caravan Minivan, the best selling minivan in the world.  The Caravan is
a prize both you and your parents can enjoy during this year's championship
soccer season.
    Families are Chrysler's best customers.  Chrysler Financial Corporation,
the official automotive sponsor of the Detroit Rockers soccer team is looking
to hear from kids, from kindergarten through ninth grade explaining in essay
form, why their parent(s) is Detroit's best soccer parent(s).  Essays of 300
words or less may be submitted through Friday, March 13, 1998.  The winner of
the Dodge Caravan lease will be announced at the Saturday, March 28th Detroit
Rockers game against the Buffalo Blizzard.
    Essays will be judged in three categories including kindergarten through
third grade, fourth through sixth grade and seventh through ninth grade.  The
Dodge Caravan will be awarded to one grand prize winner.  Other prizes include
season tickets to 1998-99 Rockers' home games, attendance at a Rockers' 1998
Summer Camp and Fox Sports Detroit Sports Packs.   Essays should be sent to
Chrysler Financial Corporation in Southfield.
