The I30 accounted for almost half of Infiniti's 1997 sales, with more than 31,000 units sold throughout the year. The QX4 ranks as one of the top three sellers in the hot and growing luxury sport utility vehicle segment, and is Infiniti's second highest volume seller. "Infiniti Division had a record-setting 1997, thanks to a strong retailer group and product lineup. Most notably, the QX4 experienced sales success in the rapidly expanding and competitive luxury sport utility vehicle segment. Through our ongoing commitment to outstanding customer service and the product introduction of the new G20, we look forward to continuing this tremendous selling momentum in 1998," said Tom Orbe, vice president and general manager, Infiniti Division.
