Gentex Honored for Quality By ChryslerZEELAND, Mich., Dec. 19 -- For the fourth year in a row, Gentex Corporation , the world-leading supplier of automatic- dimming mirrors to the auto industry, has received Chrysler Corporation's Platinum Pentastar Award for supplier quality excellence and overall corporate achievement. The Platinum Pentastar is Chrysler's highest supplier quality award. It's given for outstanding overall performance in the areas of cost reduction, quality, delivery, price, technology and customer satisfaction. Gentex has received the award each year since 1994. "This recognition is once again a great honor," said Gentex Chairman Fred Bauer. "We consider it our job to bring added value to Chrysler cars and trucks not only through our product, but also the way we do business." Thomas T.
