New Venture Gear and Warn Industries Form Strategic Alliance

    TROY, Mich., Dec. 9 -- New Venture Gear, Inc. (NVG), a world
leader in the design and manufacture of driveline products, and Warn
Industries, Inc., a leader in powertrain component technology, have teamed up
in a strategic alliance to bring a new generation of driveline systems to the
world automotive market.
    NVG and Warn Industries are recognized as a leaders in the development of
four-wheel-drive technology, each with a long list of innovative products.
    New Venture Gear President and Chief Executive Officer Fred I. Hubacker
says, "This alliance combines NVG's strength and leadership in driveline
technology and high volume manufacturing expertise with Warn Industries'
innovative technological capabilities and entrepreneurial spirit.  Together we
can truly provide better driveline systems solutions to the automotive OEMs
around the world."
    Warn industries Chief Executive Officer Mike Warn says, "By initiating and
maintaining partnerships, we have succeeded in developing some of the most
far-reaching and innovative four-wheel-drive system components ever
introduced."
    Hubacker says the goal of the alliance is to set new world standards in
four-wheel-drive technology.
