Ford Announces Vehicle Campaign

    DETROIT, Nov. 26 -- Ford Motor Company is notifying
owners of certain 1989 and 1990 model-year Lincoln Continental vehicles of a
safety recall involving the front outboard seat belt buckles.
    In some cases, the front outboard buckles may not latch or unlatch as
intended.
    Approximately 65,900 vehicles are affected, of which 1,800 are in Canada.
    Owners will be notified by mail and requested to take their vehicles to
their dealers to have the front outboard seat belt buckle assemblies replaced
at no charge.
