USAA Licenses COGEN/MP(TM)

AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 18 -- Computer Sciences Corporation
announced that United Services Automobile Association (USAA),
based in San Antonio, Texas, has licensed the COGEN/MP(TM) system for use by
the property and casualty company.
COGEN/MP is a family of premier software solutions that provide integrated

and retired military personnel and their families. USAA ranks as the sixth
largest property and casualty insurers in the United States.
"USAA is an innovative company that recognizes the importance of
technology in the insurance industry. We are extremely pleased that they
continue to rely on us as a strategic technology and business partner," said
Ken Williams, president of the Americas Insurance Division within CSC's
Financial Services Group. In February of this year, USAA licensed COLOSSUS,
CSC's expert system for evaluating bodily injury claims.
CSC had $6 billion in revenues for the 12 months ended September 26, 1997.
Headquartered in El Segundo, California, the company has nearly 44,000

financial services marketplace that harness the full depth and breadth of
CSC's assets and capabilities, as well as its strong network of industry and
technical partnerships. Units that are part of the group include CSC
Continuum and the former Hogan Systems, which together maintain the world's
