Technical Training, Inc. Receives Automotive Training Managers' Council 1997 Training Excellence Award

    ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich., Nov. 11 -- Technical Training, Inc.
(TTI) was selected as the overall winner of the 1997 Training Excellence Award
by the Automotive Training Managers' Council (ATMC) at the recent Automotive
Aftermarket Industry Week in Las Vegas, Nevada.  ATMC is an organization
founded in 1984 to help member companies better train their customers to
understand and use the latest products and techniques in the automotive
service business.
    The award winning program included: a Training Needs Assessment, two
Training programs (Electronic Engine Controls for Manufacturing [EEC-V] and
Introduction to New Generation Star Tester using EEC-V).  Additionally, each
of the training programs was supported by a series of system-specific training
modules.
    The ATMC Training Committee acclaimed that the TTI program "...should be
recognized by all as an example of the effectiveness of comprehensive needs
assessment, program development, implementation and follow-up, and clearly
sets a new standard of excellence for training delivery."
