ATLANTA, Nov. 4 -- Automobile Protection Corporation
(APCO) is pleased to announce that Johnson Industries, Inc.
(JI) will be endorsing APCO's EasyCare(R) vehicle service contracts. JI is
the nation's largest distributor of original equipment replacement automotive
parts to automobile dealers and repair facilities. Through its relationships
with thousands of automobile dealers, JI will be the conduit for dealers to
learn about EasyCare(R) vehicle service contracts.

EasyCare(R) service contracts are sold by automobile dealerships to
purchasers of new and used vehicles. EasyCare(R) provides mechanical and
electrical component coverage essentially equivalent to original factory
warranty coverage. APCO also administers the Honda EasyCare(R) and Acura
EasyCare(R) service contract program for American Honda Finance Corporation,
which is a program available to Honda and Acura dealers for non-Honda and non-
Acura vehicles sold by these dealers.
Johnson Industries, also based in Atlanta, is a privately owned
corporation founded in 1924. JI is the nation's largest distributor of
original equipment automotive parts, service equipment, body shop supplies and
facility services.
APCO, established in 1984, is a leading marketer and administrator of
products and services to automobile dealers which are designed to enhance
customer satisfaction and dealership profitability. The Company's core
business is the marketing and administration of the EasyCare(R) Certified Pre-
Owned Vehicle Program and Vehicle Service Contracts to automobile and
recreational vehicle dealers.
