Penske Corporation Names Stephen J. Pickett Vice President, Information TechnologyDETROIT, Oct. 23 -- Stephen J. Pickett has been appointed to the newly created position of Vice President, Information Technology for Penske Corporation, according to an announcement by Roger S. Penske, Chairman. Mr. Pickett will guide the strategies and deployment of computer technologies and telecommunications for all Penske companies to maximize/fully utilize numerous areas of synergy. Mr. Pickett, 48, has been the Chief Information Officer for ITT Automotive for the past four years. Previously, he held various information systems positions with Volkswagen in Europe and North America. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and an MBA in Advanced Management, both from Michigan State University.
