Thrifty Adds 17 New Locations, Exotic Cars and Truck Fleet in Connecticut

    TULSA, Okla., Oct. 7 -- Thrifty Car Rental, in its single
largest expansion move of the year, has added 17 new rental centers, exotic
cars and an array of trucks throughout Connecticut.
    The rental centers will serve all major Connecticut markets, with plans to
construct a new car rental and parking facility to open at Bradley
International Airport in November to replace the existing one in operation
today.  The facility will accommodate about 400 short and long term parkers.
    In addition to its selection of Chrysler cars, the Connecticut locations
also feature an exotic car line-up that includes several models of Jaguar,
Porsche, Mercedes, and BMW, as well as Corvette convertibles, Lexus GS300,
Ford Mustang GT convertible and Lincoln Towncar.
    Its truck fleet includes trucks that do and do not require a commercial
driver's license, cargo vans, high cube and refrigerated trucks, tractors and
trailers.
