CRAGAR Links With Sears Tire Group To Sell Automotive Wheels; Nationwide Availability in 1200 Sears and NTB Stores

PHOENIX, Oct. 7 -- CRAGAR Industries
announced today an agreement with the Sears Tire Group to sell CRAGAR, CRAGAR
Unison and Tru-Spoke wheels nationwide through the company's Sears Tire and
Auto Center facilities and its NTB chain. Wheels will be displayed at each
facility and a special Sears/CRAGAR catalog will be available for easy
ordering.
Wheels will be shipped daily to each Sears location utilizing CRAGAR's
nine location contract warehouse distribution system. The system provides low
cost, uniform two day service nationwide and next day service to two thirds of
US zip codes. "We developed the contract warehouse system to improve service
and return on investment for our many customers," said CRAGAR CEO Michael
Hartzmark. "The addition of Sears to our customer base will have a dramatic
positive impact on both companies. Sears will be able to sell America's
premier wheel brand and we will enjoy the retailing power of one of the
world's leading marketers. It is a true strategic alliance."
Sears Automotive Group is the nation's largest retailer of tires and
batteries through its Sears Auto Center, and NTB stores.
CRAGAR is a worldwide supplier of custom wheels and wheel accessories for
automobiles, light trucks, motorcycles and racing vehicles.
