Robert Hunt Elected To AutoZone's Board of Directors

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Oct. 3 -- John C. Adams Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of AutoZone Inc. today announced the election of Robert J. Hunt, 48, to the company's board of directors. Hunt has been executive vice president -- finance and chief financial officer of AutoZone since 1994. Hunt replaces Thomas S. Hanemann, 60, AutoZone's retired president, who resigned from the board.
