Monaco Coach Corporation Announces Appointment of Lee Posey to Its Board of Directors

    COBURG, Ore., July 24 -- Monaco Coach Corporation
today announced the appointment of Lee Posey to its Board
of Directors.
    Currently, Mr. Posey serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive
Officer for Palm Harbor Homes, a Dallas, Texas-based producer of
multi-section manufactured homes, a position he has held since 1977.
Additionally, he was the company's President from 1977 to 1993.  From 1967
through 1977, Mr. Posey served as President of Redman Industries, Inc., a
manufactured housing company.  Mr. Posey is a graduate of Alma College in
Alma, Michigan, and is a recipient of a National Association of Small
Business Investment Corporations' Ten Most Outstanding Small Companies
Award.
    According to Kay L. Toolson, Monaco Chairman and Chief Executive Officer,

of experience in the manufactured housing industry, he has gained a wealth

    As a member of Monaco's Board of Directors, Mr. Posey joins Michael Kluger
of Liberty Partners (financial services), Carl Ring of Liberty Partners
(financial services), Roger Vandenburg of Cariad Capital, Inc. (financial
services), Richard Rouse of Emergency Road Service, Inc. (automotive
services). Kay L. Toolson will continue as Board Chairman.
