Buckmeier Elected Vice President Product Development For Winnebago Industries

    FOREST CITY, Iowa, June 30 -- Winnebago Industries, Inc.
board of directors recently elected Ronald D. Buckmeier to the
position of vice president, product development.
    Buckmeier is now responsible for all product development and related
activities, including product research and analysis, planning, design,
engineering, implementation and distribution of product information.  The
product development responsibilities have been consolidated to further enhance
Winnebago Industries' responsiveness to the dynamics of the marketplace.
    A Winnebago Industries employee for over 20 years, Buckmeier has vast
experience in engineering, design and product development, most recently
serving as director of product development.
    Buckmeier's prior experience includes engineering and plant management
responsibilities at Rockwell/Collins, Cedar Rapids and Transport Technicians
Inc./Kolstad Co., Forest City and St. Paul, Minn.
    Buckmeier received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical
engineering from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minn., and his
Master's degree from General Motors Engineering and Management Institute,
Flint, Mich., in addition to graduate studies in business administration at
the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa.
