PARKER'S RACING CAREER...1995: Made storybook oval debut with Comptech Racing when he won pole at Michigan and dominated early portions of race before mechanical problems set in...Turned race lap of more than 231 mph at MIS...Made six other starts while also serving as Honda test driver...Best finishes were 11ths at Cleveland and Vancouver...Also was in points at Road America (12th) ... 1994: Made six starts with Comptech Racing, with a best finish coming at Vancouver ... Struggled with year-old car and new Honda engine ... 1993: Won third consecutive IMSA Camel Lights championship, scoring nine poles and seven wins (Miami, Sebring, Atlanta, Lime Rock, Mid-Ohio, Road America and Laguna Seca) ... 1992: Won second consecutive Camel Lights championship, driving Comptech Spice-Acura NSX ... Scored poles at all 13 events ... Drove to flag-to-flag win at Daytona ... Also won at Miami, Lime Rock, Watkins Glen, Portland, Del Mar and Phoenix ... 1991: Dominated IMSA Camel Lights class, winning eight races (Daytona, West Palm Beach, Miami, Road Atlanta, Topeka, Mid-Ohio, Watkins Glen and Del Mar) in Spice-Acura and capturing his first Camel GT championship ... 1990: Scored three IMSA Camel Lights wins (Portland, San Antonio and Del Mar) in four starts ... 1989: Won second career IMSA LuK Clutch Challenge ...
