Kenny Brack, of Karlstad Sweden, was born March 21, 1966. He began his career in Sweden driving go-karts and Formula Fords. In 1988, he started running a Formula 3 in Sweden. By 1991, he had earned several wins and podium finishes across Europe and Scandinavia. In 1992, he won the Renault Clio Scandinavian championship, with nine wins and a second. That year he finished fourth in the Eurocup Renault Clio Elf Series. In 1993, he seized the Zerox Barber Saab Series title with six victories.
Between 1994 and 1996, he worked his way up the ladder into the International Formula 3000 championship, finishing 11th in 1993, third in 1994 and runner-up in 1996. In February 1997, Brack tested Galles Racing International's IRL car and was chosen to drive at Phoenix for the injured Davy Jones.
