Results Continue to Confirm TACH's Vision and Format

Auto Central - THE AUTO CHANNEL is pleased to announce that it has achieved its highest ranking ever in the 100 HOT Popularity Guide for the Top Automotive Websites in the world. For the week of July 21, 2000, TACH was named the fourth most popular auto related website, falling just behind Carpoint.com, Cars.com, and an aggregation of all Toyota Internet entities. TACH had previously reached as high as #5 in the 100 Hot weekly guide. The #4 position places THE AUTO CHANNEL ahead of such well- known automotive names as Edmund's, Car & Driver, AutoWeb, Auto-By-Tel, Motor Trend, IntelliChoice, and virtually every other auto manufacturer website.

The complete list, with research and methodology information, can be found at http://www.100hot.com/directory/lifestyles/auto.html.

Additionally, THE AUTO CHANNEL was again ranked as the Internet's most popular and heavily visited automotive news website for the month of June, 2000, by Top9.com. This is the third time since December that TACH has attained the number one position on the Top9 list. When not at the top of the list, THE AUTO CHANNEL has typically finished in second place. As #1, TACH out performed CarandDriver.com, Auto.com, MotorTrend.com, Popular Mechanics.com, RoadandTrack.com, AutoWeek.com, and AutomobileMag.com.
