Daytona Beach, FL - 8:00 a.m. this morning and the True Value IROC cars took to the track with one goal in mind; run Greg Ray three-wide, all the way around the 2.5-mile high-banks of Daytona. After his initiation yesterday it was time to get tough.

True Value IROC test drivers Dave Marcis and Jim Sauter put Greg on the bottom, in the middle and on the top, various three-wide configurations to give Greg race condition experience.

"Greg, you're doing just great, holding your line, nice and steady, " remarked Sauter over the in-car radio.

The practice session started off with the cars half down on fuel and tires to give Greg a feel of what the car will handle like at the half-way mark. They ran until Marcis was out of fuel, came in for new tires, filled up with fuel, and headed back out for more practice.

Greg said, "You can tell everybody (back at the IRL) I'm just having a great time here with IROC. They're really nice guys and extremely helpful. I'm really looking forward to this."
