In other news from Daytona, defending ARCA Bondo/Mar-Hyde Series champion
Frank Kimmel had contact with the turn 4 wall yesterday in qualifying. The
14-time series winner was transported to Halifax Medical Center in
Daytona Beach where he was held overnight for evaluation. Kimmel was
released this morning. If in the event that Kimmel is unable to qualify
tomorrow in 2nd round, team owner Larry Clement has advised ARCA that
Bob Hill will qualify the car.
