Bikes: AMA Prostar Schedule

Huntsville, Ala. -- The motorcycle drag racing division of the American Motorcycle Association (AMA), AMA/Prostar, released it's official 1999 schedule of events this week.

The '99 tour features eight events on their national circuit, four races in their west coast series, and one event (thus far) on their all new regional series.

"We are looking to add some regional events possibly next season in different areas of the country" said Marty Kane, AMA/Prostar Director of Race Operations, "if we do, that schedule will be released at a later date."

Feb. 26-28 - Gainesville, FL

AMA Nationals

June 5-6 - Rockingham, NC

Orient Express U.S. Motorcycle Nationals,
