15 November 1998

Central City, KY -- Brewco Motorsports, Inc. announced today that Kevin Grubb will drive the No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the 1999 NASCAR Busch Series season.

Grubb, 20, of Mechanicsville, Virginia, is making his first full-time venture into the NASCAR Busch Series. The talented young driver competed in 18 NASCAR Busch Series race in 1998, scoring one pole, two top five and five top 10 finishes. Since 1997, Grubb has made 22 career NASCAR Busch Series starts.

"I've been keeping my eye on Kevin for the past few months," said team owner Clarence Brewer Jr. "The success he has enjoyed in our series with his limited experience is very impressive. He's young yet extremely focused, aggressive and enthusiastic."

Before joining the NASCAR Busch Series, Grubb competed from 1995-1997 in the Late Model Stock Division at South Boston Speedway in South Boston, Virginia and Southside Speedway in Richmond, Virginia. In 1997, Grubb emerged victorious in 13 races.

"When I joined the NASCAR Busch Series in 1997, my goal was to earn the respect and experience which would allow me to compete full-time," said Grubb. "I've had several solid runs and know I can be extremely competitive in the right situation. Brewco Motorsports has the Timber Wolf Racing team on a solid foundation and I'm anxious to get the 1999 season started."

Grubb will join Brewco Motorsports teammate Casey Atwood who is also scheduled to compete full time in the 1999 NASCAR Busch Series season.
