Quotes from Kevin Lepage, 1998 Winston Cup Rookie of the Year candidate: "We feel like we are ready for the challenge of Martinsville this weekend. Doug Richert and the entire team have spent a lot of time evaluating the results of our Martinsville test and applying their conclusions to the race car. Maybe more so than anywhere, it will be important to get a starting spot up front and a pit space on the front. If we are just a little bit faster than in our test we will be fine. After that it is just preparing the car and brakes to go all 500 laps without failure."

"I am eager to get back in the car after the big accident in Texas. We had such a good race car there and didn't get the opportunity to show everyone. I feel like this LJ Racing Team is ready to score their first top-ten finish. If we could do that at such a tough place as Martinsville it would be an awesome feeling."
