With Englishman and Land Speed Record holder Richard Noble on the salt at Blackrock, NV with his thrust 3 Rolls Royce powered missle awaiting a showdown with former record holder Craig Breedlove, TACH thought it would be interesting to look at the history of LSR attempts. As of this writing Breedlove has encountered mechanical problems and Noble has worked his way up to 500 mph in his bid to surpass his 633.47 mph run in 1983.
