The Richard Petty Riding Experience

DAYTONA BEACH, FL - The Richard Petty Riding Experience became the
newest attraction to join Daytona USA with an official ribbon-cutting
ceremony on Friday, August 29.

The latest addition to the motorsports-themed entertainment center
will offer participants the opportunity to take a front-seat ride in
an actual stock car driven by a professional RPRE instructor. The
experience consists of three laps around the 2.5-mile high-banked
Daytona International Speedway at speeds up to 110 mph.

Seven-time Daytona 500 winner Richard Petty was on hand to greet fans
and join in the festivities.

The Richard Petty Riding Experience will run Sept. 5-7; Sept. 18-28;
Oct.  16-18; and Nov. 5-11 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Call 904-947-6490
