Jimmy Spencer Wins NASCAR BGN Food City 250

BRISTOL, TN - Jimmy Spencer survived a wrecked-filled 250 laps to take the victory in tonight's NASCAR Busch Series Grand National Division Food City 250 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The Berwick, PA native led twice for a total of 154 laps.

Spencer held off rookie Steve Park, who gave Spencer everything he had in the closing laps, to finish 0.139-second ahead of Dale Earnhardt's protege. Rounding out the top five were Robert Pressley, series points leader Randy LaJoie and Rick Wilson.

The caution flew a total of 13 times for 87 laps slowing the average speed of the event to 65.515 mph. The race took 2 hours, 2 minutes, 2 seconds to complete. There were 6 lead changes among 5 drivers.
