Compete In Craftsman Truck Series Race

LOUISVILLE, KY: Porter Cable Corporation announced today its one-time
sponsorship of Liberty Racing and Driver Wayne Anderson in the NASCAR
Craftsman Truck Series. Brad Daugherty, five-time NBA all-star and
part owner of Liberty racing, assisted company President Jack Garlock
in unveiling the freshly painted #97 Porter-Cable race truck.

Wayne Anderson is scheduled to drive the Porter-Cable truck at the
Federated Auto Parts 250 in Nashville, Tennessee on August 16 at 7 PM
EST. This particular sponsorship marks Porter- Cable's first step into
the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. However, this is the power tool
manufacturer's second year sponsoring Anderson in the Slim Jim All Pro
Series as well as the NASCAR Busch North Series. In addition,
Porter-Cable was the title sponsor of this weekend's NASCAR event in
Louisville, Kentucky.

Porter-Cable President Jack Garlock said, "Wayne Anderson is an up-and
-coming star in motorsports...he's young, talented, and determined to
win. When you combine that with a top- notch racing team like Liberty
Racing, you've just created the formula for a successful racing team."

"I would like to thank Porter-Cable power tools and Liberty Racing for
giving me the opportunity to compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck
series," Anderson said. "I look forward to a solid run for them in
Nashville."

Liberty Racing is one of the premier teams in the NASCAR Craftsman
Truck Series. With two victories (Homestead and Texas) under their
belt this season, Brad Daugherty and his racing team hope to bring
home another victory with Wayne Anderson in the driver's seat.

Porter-Cable Corporation, headquartered in Jackson, Tennessee, is one
of the world's leading manufacturers of portable electric and cordless
power tools, air nailers/staplers and accessories for the woodworking,
