01/02/97

Comline reports that Zexel made its first direct sales agreement with BMW and will provide heat exchangers for BMW's 1998 US-made sports utility vehicles.

Zexel USA, located in Illinois, will make the heat exchangers and sell them to BMW's South Carolina plant. The company plans to sell about 70,000 of the heat exchangers to BMW each year. Zexel previously sold BMW compressors for air conditioning units through Robert Bosch.
