Forbes Magazine 400 Richest Americans Includes Motorsports

The 1996 Forbes list of the 400 richest people in America includes several motorsports biggies. Bruton Smith, owner of Charlotte, Atlanta and other speedways has an estimated wealth of $823 million. Bruce McCaw, owner of the Pac West CART team is worth $800 million, John Menard of IRL is worth $775 million, and the NASCAR France's are in at $550 million.
