GM Canadian Strike Puts The General Down 49,156 Units

Six CM auto/truck assembly plants in the U.S. and Canada were effected by the strike that ended last week as lost production totalled 49,156 vehicles. To get back up to speed depends on parts deliveries to the facilities.

Overall North American vehicle output for last week totalled 277,655 which is down 8.5 % from this period last year. Year to date 12,667,896 cars and trucks have been built.
