Hyundai Adds Tiburon to '97 Vehicle Lineup; Announces Pricing for 1997
Models

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Oct. 22 -- Hyundai Motor America
today announced pricing on its 1997 product line. In keeping with a
history of offering value-driven cars in America, the all-new Tiburon
sporty coupe, starts at an affordable $13,499. The 1997 Sonata, with
re-styled front and rear ends, interior refinements and improved
suspension and handling, starts at only $14,749.

Listed below are price ranges on Hyundai's 1997 model lineup.

Accent 4-Door               $9,799 - $10,554
Accent GT                  $10,199 - $10,954
Elantra 4-Door             $11,099 - $13,349
Elantra Wagon              $11,999 - $13,999
Tiburon                    $13,499 - $15,699

Destination charges remain unchanged at $415 on all Hyundai
models in the continental U.S. and Hawaii, and $565 for Alaska.
