Honda Announces 1997 Acura Prices

Acura Announces '97 Prices With no Increase on RL, TL, Integra Models TORRANCE, Calif., Oct. 17 -- Acura today announced that pricing on its 3.5RL flagship luxury sedan, its TL Series of touring luxury sedans, and its Integra Sports Coupe and Sports Sedan models will remain unchanged for 1997. The 3.5RL, Acura's top-of-the-line luxury sedan that has achieved unprecedented levels of comfort, refinement and engineering, remains at $41,000. The 3.5RL with optional Premium Package is $44,000, while the Acura Navigation System is a $2,000 option with the Premium Package. The Acura 2.5TL touring luxury sedan, with 2.5-liter in-line 5-cylinder engine, is $28,450, and $30,500 with Premium Package. The 3.2TL, which features a 3.2-liter V-6 and adds a power moonroof and power passenger seat as standard equipment for '97, is $32,950, while the 3.2TL with Premium Package is $35,500. The Integra Sports Coupe is available in four trim levels (RS, LS, GS and GS-R) with prices ranging from $16,100 for the RS model with five-speed manual transmission to $21,900 for the top-of-the-line GS-R with leather-trimmed interior. All 1997 Integra models now include an in-dash AM/FM/CD music system as standard equipment. The Integra Sports Sedan series, available in three versions (LS, GS and GS-R), starts at $19,650 for the LS model with a five-speed manual transmission, while the performance-oriented Integra GS-R Sedan with leather- trimmed interior is $22,200. Acura's 1997 lineup, including the "Made-In-America" CL Series of luxury sports coupes, the NSX exotic sports car, and the SLX luxury sport utility vehicle, is available at approximately 270 Acura dealerships nationwide. The 1997 CL Series has been a runaway success since it was introduced in March and is priced from $22,110 to $26,460. The 1997 Acura NSX and SLX models are scheduled to go on sale in January.
