General Motors Announces Oldsmobile Aurora and Bravada Sales

Aurora and Bravada Sales on the Rise

LANSING, Mich., Oct. 1 -- For the third month in a row
Oldsmobile Bravada sales have increased compared to the previous month
and the same month last year. Aurora sales have increased 175 units
compared to the same month last year giving sales a 13.4% increase.

Bravada, Oldsmobile's AWD sport-utility vehicle, sales have increased
41 units compared to last month and compared to the same month last
year, sales increased by 2773.3%, when only 1994 models were
available.  "We are excited about the record breaking sales for both
Aurora and Bravada -- but I cannot say we're surprised," says
Oldsmobile General Manager, John Rock. 

"Aurora, our flagship and Bravada are Oldsmobile's first vehicles out
of the gate leading us into our Centennial year. We expect this trend
to continue as each new product, such as the all-new 1997 Silhouette
and 1997 Cutlass, is available."
