GM's Delphi Division Sets up ASEAN Base

General Motor's Delphi Automotive Systems announced that it has set up an ASEAN base in Singapore to coordinate its expanding activities in the regional vehicle market. The member countries of ASEAN include Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei, Vietnam and the Philippines. Frank Hodits will serve as the group's ASEAN country manager.

Delphi recorded $27.9 billion in sales worldwide, and has sales offices in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Jakarta and a manufacturing presence in Indonesia and Malaysia.
