Jeep and Mitsubishi Make News

07/24/96

Jeep has raised prices on their present models, but did not make a public announcement. Last week prices on the Wrangler were increased $472-$500. The price hike includes a $150 increase in the shipping charge.

In its largest ever recall, Mitsubishi Motors is calling in 635,000 vehicles to fix a faulty brake hose that could break and leak brake fluid. About half the cars involved were sold in Japan and half exported and they are: Pajero, Diamante, GTO, Sigma and Debonaire.
