1996 Ford Taurus, Crown Vic, Mercury Sable get $1000 rebate

In its continuing effort to stay ahead of Honda sales, Ford has announced a $1000 incentive for purchasers of the Taurus, Mercury Sable, and the Crown Victoria. The new incentive replaces a $600 rebate that has been in effect since Jan. 15. Other Ford incentives are $2000 off on a Bronco; $1500, Windstar Villager and Aerostar; $1200, Econoline; and $600 off the Escort, Tracer, T-Bird, Cougar and Probe.
