1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass is Import Fighter
07/18/96
Although the Ciera has been Oldsmobile's best seller for the past year, with 129,000 of the vehicles going over the curb at dealerships, GM's oldest line is putting high hopes on the Cutlass for 1997. The Cutlass will receive: a stiffer chassis, a larger interior with fold down seats, cup holders, and storage bins. Standard equipment will consist of automatic trans, power steering, ABS, air, rear window defroster, and power door locks.
The Cutlass' base price is $17,000, which is below the comparably equipped Toyota Camry and Honda Accord.
