1997 Subaru Legacy Prices Start At $19,195

Subaru, riding a sales wave resulting from its hilarious Paul Hogan (Crocodile Dundee) network TV commercials for the four wheel drive Outback, has announced prices for the 1997 Legacy line. The Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price for the four door sedan will begin at $19,195, while the Outback Sport Ute will have a sticker of $22,495. These prices represent a 2.7 % hike over 1996 prices. The combined increase in the sedan and Sport Utility is $442.
