Chrysler Extends Sales Incentives

07/11/96

Chrysler Corporation extended sales incentives that were supposed to have expired Monday on select 1996 models. The extension renews the incentives until October 7. The corporation increased cash rebates for the Dodge Dakota pickup truck from $1,000 to $1,500 in all states except California and Hawaii, where the rebate is $2,000 for a Dakota regular cab and $1,000 for a club cab model. Chrysler's other rebates include $1,000 for Dodge/Plymouth Neons; $1,000 for Cirrus, Stratus and Breeze sedans; and $3,000 for the Chrysler LHS. Buyers can choose lower financing rates instead of cash.
