Toyota's Parts Manufacturers to Work on Cutting Pollution
06/26/96
Toyota announced that its auto parts manufacturers in Japan have met most of the environmental goals they set for themselves in 1993, and that they are currently drafting new, tougher ones. The Japanese parts makers plan to cut carbon dioxide and industrial waste output. Their goal for industrial waste is to reduce it by %50-75% of what it was in the early 90s by the year 2000.
