Daytona USA Theme Attraction To Open July 5 with Pepsi Race

Daytona USA, a high energy experience consisting of a variety of interactive, advanced technology exhibits centered around a stock car racing theme, is scheduled to open in conjunction with the Pepsi 400, July 6 at the Daytona International Raceway. On display will be illustrations of stock cars running on the beach at Daytona, Sir Malcolm Campbell's land speed record Bluebird, a full scale replica of Bill France's first gas station. Spectators will examine the design features of a Winston Cup car, will experience the high banks of Daytona, and even be allowed to broadcast a race and visit victory lane. And yes, there will be loads of trinkets and T-shirts for sale.
