Provisional Starting Grid for 80th Indy 500

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway published the provisional starting grid for the 80th Indy 500. Danny Ongais will drive the car that Scott Brayton used to qualify for the pole position. USAC officials have placed him at the back of the pack. Arie Luyendyk set the records for the fastest one and four lap times at the speedway during this year's quals, but he did it after the pole and other top positions were already locked up. He will start from the inside of row 7.
