Ongais to Drive Brayton's Car for Menard

On Sunday, John Menard, owner of Team Menard, announced that Danny Ongais will drive Menard's pole qualifying race car in the Indy 500, replacing IRL driver Scott Brayton who died in a crash on Friday. Ongais' return to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway will end a decade of retirement. He last raced in the Indy 500 in 1986, and his last Indy car race was in 1987.
