NASCAR: Winston Select Results

ESPNNET reported the finishing order for NASCAR's Winston Select all-star race. The event ran last Saturday night at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina.

Michael Waltrip won the event, becoming the first racer to win after coming up from the preliminary 50 lap Winston Select Open. The top five finishers of the Winston Select Open race against Winston Cup stars in the main event. The race has no bearing on Winston Cup point standings.

The Winston Select is a three segment race. Dale Jarrett won the first thirty lap segment, Dale Earnhardt won the second thirty laps, and Michael Waltrip rallied in the last 10 lap segment to become the final winner.
