1928: Walter Chrysler addss Plymouth line to his auto company. 1933: Plymouth takes on Ford and Chevy with ads that say..."Look at all three" 1966-67 Richard Petty rules NASCAR stock car racing in Plymouth Hemi. 1973: Plymouth sets record sales of 748,699 units. 1996: To attract younger buyers Plymouth announces the Prowler two-seat retro hot rod for the market in 1997.
