NASCAR: Winston Cup Standings after the First Union 400

Motorsport News International reported NASCAR's official point standings for the Winston Cup series. The standings reflect the results of last weekend's First Union 400, which was run in Wilkesboro, NC on Sunday.

The First Union 400 was Terry Labonte's 513th consecutive start, tying Richard Petty's record. The first of Labonte's 513 races was the Winston Western 500 at the Riverside International Raceway (now defunct). He qualified 25th in that race and finished 35th (last). Last Sunday he won from the pole.
