Publicists for the New York International Automobile Show say safety features are getting a share of the show's spotlight this year. TACH recently got a press release from the show that's packed with info about the safety features that manufacturers are putting in new cars, from side impact air bags that deploy in 12 milliseconds to crumple zones that distribute the impact of a collision away from the passenger compartment to other parts of the car.
