General Motors Hands Out 'Boss' Kettering Awards

Charles F. "Boss" Kettering, acknowledged as an automotive engineering genius, head of GMs Research Laboratory in GMs early days and holder of 140 patents has a GM awards program named after him. Annualy the corporation hands out awards to its Engineers, Scientists and hourly employees who have made a significant contribution to the company.
