SCCA Trans Am Series Returns to Long Beach Streets

The SCCA Trans Am series,the longest running professional road race series ...30 years returns to the streetsof Long Beach for the fifth time as a companion race to the Indy cars April 13-14. The Ford vs Chevey duels will continue as series leader Tommy Kendalls Mustan Cobra tries to hold off the Camaros of Ron Fellows and Jamie Galles. Former Trans Am champ Paul Gentilozzi will make his 100th T.A. start in his Rocketsports Camaros. The race flags off at 3;40 pm,PST, Sunday, April 14 following the PPG Indy car fracas.
